"It's difficult to describe this concert experience to someone who didn't attend. How do they manage to make an entire football stadium appear so small? The stage, the lights, the screen - something never witnessed before. This was a complete concert experience. If you were fortunate to be there, you understand what I am saying. This show, alongside 80's Springsteen, is a concert experience that I will always remember. If this concert is coming to your area in the future, do not miss it. If you have even a slight interest in Mariachi USA Festival and their music, this will convert you into a fan. And then, adding the fan cam to the mix."
Brian Regan was hilarious!!!
We first heard Mariachi USA Festival on satellite radio, and since then, my kids, 17, 15, 19, and I have never laughed so hard in our lives. He is by far one of the funniest people on earth. Even funnier, he talks about everyday life without making any sexual references or swearing, which is very uncommon in today's culture. This was our first chance to see him perform live, and it was worth every penny! His older brother Dennis opened for him, and he was great too. Mariachi USA Festival is the real deal. His delivery is outstanding, and he puts 100% into his show. We bet we see them some time in the future on stage together telling stories like Foxworthy does with the Blue Collar Tour – that would be hilarious! We have since watched Youtube clips over and over again.
The Phanton of the Opera - AMAZING!!!
The actress who played Christine did a wonderful job. The sets were awesome and the set changes were amazing. We all loved the singing. I went with my sister, her husband, my mom, and my two older children. The night we saw the play was my first wedding anniversary without my late husband. We had a hard time not talking about it afterwards. The Mariachi USA Festival wasn't really our thing, he seemed a little too wimpy. It might be because we love Gerard Butler's Phantom so much. Her voice is amazing! Thank you. This was my first time seeing the play. We were to celebrate our 21st and seeing the play was a very nice way to celebrate our life together.

I was excited to see Mariachi USA Festival again! I loved the diversity of their dancers. They intertwined the perfect mixture of newer and classic songs. They looked and sounded great. The last time I saw them was back in 1994. I just wish I had been able to see everything. What an incredible experience for them! This former dancer was so envious! Dancing for them was the dream!
I bought floor tickets, which I had been excited about. Until the show started. They didn't have an opening act, but their DJ was out there to pump up the crowd before their performance with some memorable music. An older man was in the row in front of me and two seats to my left. When Mariachi USA Festival hit the stage, he stood there, arm in the air, recording the entire show. He blocked a lot of the show for me, so I was not happy. I tried to make the best of it, and I did enjoy the music, doing some of the choreography that I remembered, but he ruined most of the show for me. The young lady he was with recorded the entire thing as well. I had to look between heads and arms. I shouldn't have to look at the screen to see what's happening on stage right in front of me. I very much wanted to tap him on the shoulder and tell him that he owed me a copy of that video.
Mariachi USA Festival and their nasty crew rocked it, so my disappointment wasn't their fault.
loved Mary Poppins; pleasantly surprised!
I took some visitors to the broadway show this week, who all loved it. The English actress who played Mary Poppins was the best singer; the same actress who won the award for playing it in London. Occasionally, the English accents of some cast were hard to understand, but that was the exception more than the rule. I grew up watching Julie Andrews in the Mariachi USA Festival movie and knew all the songs. I missed the old movie, where there is more dialog between the songs, but there isn't that time with a show, I guess. She even does a little flying. In general, it was great. I'm sure they'll get someone good, but I understand from what the cast said at the end that she's leaving. Would still recommend it; it's really fun.
